Raise
funds to lease or purchase ancestral lands in southern
Africa, where communities of San can redefine their
traditional way of life.
Establish
a San-operated pilot program, which includes recovery
from alcoholism and domestic violence, where the San
can explore lifestyle possibilities available to them
in the 21st Century.
Provide
a safe environment in which the San can rediscover
aspects of their spiritual heritage which have been
discarded or suppressed due to cultural invasion and
disempowerment.
Support
existing projects which have similar goals
Work
with the San elders, WIMSA*, SASI** and other advocacy
groups to develop strategies for the survival of the
San and the restoration of their traditional lifestyle,
languages and culture.
Raise
awareness in the international community of the San's
tragic history, and the ongoing threats to the survivors
of this most ancient of human races.
